MetLife Stadium Welcomes Back Football, Fueled by New and Expanded Partnerships Across the Jets and Giants Platform
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – MetLife Stadium enters the 2026 NFL season riding the momentum of a wave of new and expanded partnerships that underscore the strength of its unique two-team platform. That momentum follows a landmark summer in which the stadium hosted the FIFA World Cup Final, making it the only venue in the world to have hosted both the FIFA World Cup Final and the Super Bowl and cementing its status as the most significant stage in global sports.
The New York Giants open their home schedule against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football this weekend, followed by the New York Jets home opener against the Green Bay Packers on September 20. The return of NFL football marks the start of another season at MetLife Stadium, home to both the Giants and the Jets and the only venue in the NFL that serves as the home field for two franchises in the nation's largest media market.
"There's nothing quite like the start of football season," said Mark Stefanacci, President and CEO of MetLife Stadium. "Being the home of both the New York Jets and New York Giants means two NFL teams jointly bringing opportunities to market, giving partners the ability to reach both Jets and Giants fans in the largest media market in the country, and it's amplified by the value of the major third-party events we host here, all of which combine the strength of two franchises, their schedules, their fan bases and our year-round event calendar. For our partners, that adds up to a true one-stop shop across both NFL teams and the stadium platform itself."
New and Expanded Partnerships Anchor the Season
MetLife Stadium continues to strengthen its position as one of the most valuable sports and entertainment platforms in North America, and this season's partnership roster reflects that momentum. Leading the way are new cornerstone partner American Express, the Official Payments Partner of MetLife Stadium, and HCLTech, whose renewed partnership includes the venue's first-ever AI collaboration. Their investments are joined by other industry leaders that have recently launched or expanded partnerships with MetLife Stadium, including Anheuser-Busch, Diageo, Dunkin', F.W. Webb, United Rentals, Athletic Brewing, Sun Cruiser and Konica Minolta.
Together, these partnerships reflect the unmatched scale of the MetLife Stadium platform. Few venues can offer brands a year-round presence anchored by two NFL franchises, a calendar that now includes the sport's two biggest global events, and access to one of the most influential consumer markets in the world. From 20 NFL games each season to concerts, college football, international soccer and marquee special events, MetLife Stadium gives partners unmatched visibility and the ability to engage fans across a broad range of passion points — all through a single platform.
A Landmark Summer, and a Season Still to Come
Following the FIFA World Cup Final this summer, MetLife Stadium hosted an extensive concert lineup featuring BTS (two sold-out shows), Chris Brown & Usher (two sold-out shows with a third added in October), Guns N' Roses, Bruno Mars (four sold-out shows), and Ed Sheeran (two performances over Labor Day weekend), while BIGBANG takes the stage this Friday. In total, the stadium hosted 12 concerts in the eight weeks between the summer's global sporting finale and the NFL home opener, with three more performances still to come this month: two shows by Karol G and one by AC/DC.
The stadium's landmark year continues this winter when it hosts the 127th Army-Navy Game on Saturday, December 12 — one of the nation's most celebrated sporting traditions, returning to MetLife Stadium for the first time since 2021 and only the second time in venue history.
From New York Jets and New York Giants football to premier college athletics, sold-out concerts, global sporting events and industry-leading partnerships, MetLife Stadium continues to bring together world-class entertainment, iconic brands, and millions of fans. As the only NFL venue home to two franchises in the nation's largest media market — and, following this summer, the only building in the world to have hosted both the FIFA World Cup Final and the Super Bowl — MetLife Stadium remains the world's leading sports and entertainment destination and an unmatched platform for partners seeking meaningful fan engagement at scale.
